Where to start? I suppose the beginning is a good place. I am a working mother of two boys and I am happily married. I wrote my first chapter while was house sitting for my mom. When I was younger I always wrote, however I never I thought I would go anywhere with it. They day I wrote my chapter, I was truly shocked as I sat back and read what I wrote. When I told one of my girlfriends what I had done, she cheered me on and away I went....Before I knew it, I had my first draft of my first ever manuscript. Darkness Embraced. I enjoy reading in the genre that I write about and I have always been a huge fan of vampires, werewolves and the like. Although I read other genres, I always come back to the paranormal romance. I am also a BIG Trekky! Yes, I watch SPACE, it's my favorite channel and Dr. Who and Merlin have become one of my new favorite shows. My inspiration for writing has been Maggie Shayne and Nina Bangs. I love to spending time with family and friends. I live for being part of my children's sports by volunteering my time in some fashion or other. During the fall, which is by far my favorite season I love decorating our house for Halloween, and I even dress up in costumes. I just love the season, the changing colors of the leaves and the smell of the wood burning in the wood stove; and the best for last PUMPKIN SEEDS! Yummy!
